Description

Counterconditioning therapy is an effective, yet underutilized treatment option. Addressing the growing number of substance use disorder patients – for alcohol, opiate/opioid, amphetamine(s), cocaine and cannabis – including never before treated and multiple relapsing persons – demands that treatment options beyond traditional therapies for SUDs be considered as a component of multimodal treatment program.
