Training Overview Description
This course will provide the key features and strategies of prevention and community development promoted by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The course will cover both prevention in early childhood (0-8 years) and the SAMHSAs Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) prevention model that promotes resilience and prevents problem behaviors across the life span.
